A Zone Index is a pair of numbers or a single number that specify a specific map on the world map. The numbers are locale specific, but only the zone indicies vary from locale to locale.

- continent
- Number - continent 0 is the world of Azeroth, 1 is Kalimdor, 2 is Eastern Continent, 3 is Outland
- zone
- Number or nil - a zone of 0 or nil indicates that you want the continent itself, otherwise this should be a valid zone index
